The Farmery Estate Brewery brand is quickly growing since we expanded from not only growing our own ingredients, but also making beer at our brewery in Neepawa, Manitoba in 2016. We are continuing to expand our hop yards, as well as promote our new and existing varieties of Farmery beer in the Canadian market. Job Description

As a Sales Representative you are the face of the Farmery business each and every day. Job Responsibilities: Will be based in Winnipeg

  • Responsible for achieving volume, margin and distribution targets for our continued success in the Winnipeg and surrounding region
  • Ownership of territory planning, individual customer planning and customer management
  • Territory spend and budget management
  • Prioritizing growth opportunities based on scale and expediency
  • Build strong business relationships with key customers and consumer groups
  • Identify and leverage business opportunities (i.e. new customers)
  • Make recommendations on strategy, approach and timing to manager and then execute in trade
  • Execution of call cycle and administrative duties (routine management)

Job Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or another relevant field
  • Previous experience in territory sales or packaged goods an asset
  • Budget management experience, analytical skills, strong business acumen
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent relationship building and follow-up skills
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong impact and influential abilities
  • Computer proficiency and aptitude, specifically with Excel, PowerPoint and CRM Tools
  • You must have and maintain a provincial valid driver’s license in good standing with no limitations/restrictions.

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Graphic/Web/Social Media Designer & Printer

Farmery Estate Brewery is looking for a motivated and creative graphics & web designer/printer with some experience or aptitude in running a large format printer, to help bring our brand to life through the design and execution of marketing elements through print & the web.

Main Duties:

  • Graphic design & layout
  • Content creation: basic video production and editing; text writing and editing
  • Webpage maintenance
  • Social media posting & strategy
  • Large format printing

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere (or other video editing software) and Acrobat as well as Microsoft Office and Google Docs/Sheets, in a Mac & PC environment
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of social media, such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram, etc.
  • Working knowledge of WordPress; HTML and coding knowledge and experience is ideal but not necessary
  • An aptitude for researching and utilizing new software to perform existing tasks more efficiently
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills – a collaborative team player
  • Strong organizational skills – able to prioritize and shift between projects, and balance with tight deadlines
  • Keen eye for detail – proofreading layouts, retouching photos, seeing what needs to be done to improve the material to be the best it can be
  • Self-motivated – a problem solver, resourceful, able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Receives and processes suggestions, corrections, and feedback professionally
