Farmery Estate Brewery—a proud field-to-table brewery—is searching for a skilled and passionate Plant Manager to lead our brewing and beverage production operations. Key Responsibilities

Brewing & Beverage Production Support:

  • Assist the Brewer in all brewing phases: ingredient prep, mashing, boiling, fermenting, conditioning, and packaging, as well as all other beverage production workflows
  • Monitor and record critical process parameters for consistency and quality
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary production environment

Production Supervision:

  • Lead & collaborate with the Brewmaster to coordinate day-to-day production operations
  • Lead in scheduling and coordinating workflows to meet targets
  • Troubleshoot production issues and identify process improvements
  • Take the lead in supervising, evaluating, training, and scheduling employees across production with the assistance of fellow workers

Maintenance Engineering:

  • Lead and collaborate with the Brewmaster on equipment maintenance and installations
  • Troubleshoot brewing systems and production plant; develop maintenance schedules for production plant
  • Operate and maintain forklifts, trucks, and other mobile equipment

Quality Control & Inventory:

  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet brand and safety standards
  • Follow HACCP, GMP, and safety protocols throughout all operations
  • Track raw materials, supplies, and inventory with accurate documentation

Operations & Logistics:

  • Oversee logistics, ordering, and warehouse organization
  • Maintain clean, organized, and functional plant systems
  • Ensure proper record-keeping for workflows, maintenance, and compliance

What You Bring to the Table

Requirements:

  • Passion for & understanding of craft beer and beverage production, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic
  • Extensive production supervision, employee supervision, and maintenance engineering experience
  • Ability to solve technical problems with confidence and accuracy
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills, with strong knowledge of English
  • Strong organizational and workflow implementation abilities
  • Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
  • Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on, active work

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in brewing or food/beverage production environments
  • Education in brewing, engineering, manufacturing, or related fields
  • Forklift certification and/or experience with heavy machinery
  • Technically inclined with working knowledge of most tools
  • Familiarity with documentation systems and ERP software
